Default Block Guard or no Block Guard??

Building my b18a1 for boost. Rods & pistons 82 mm bore on stock sleeves... Im looking to make about 350-400 and i was wondering if stock sleeves will hold up fine with no guard?? I know that tuning is huge for avoiding this disaster. I just want a hard running daily that i can trust. Tell me what you think or have Experienced.

ok number one stay 81.5mm smaller the better on stock sleeves. Secondly for that power level you do NOT need any kind of support on the sleeves. I daily drove my car for five years stock sleeves 400hp never a problem. Only blew up when i tried to make to much power lol.

at that power level i rather let my coolent do it job then stuff it with a piece of aluminum that serve nothing really. if a sleeve is going to crack it will crack.
