Ok.. did compression test...(semi-long)
If you haven't heard, lately I had a problem with the overflow tank oveflowing and splashing coolant everywhere. I installed new ARP studs when I did changed the headgasket (cometic 2mm) about 800 miles ago before I put the turbo on but I didn't retorque the studs after 10 heat cycles. i retorqued them this Sunday and ran the car.. same problem... overflow of reservoir tank and some white smoke from the tail pipe.
I checked the coolant and there was no signs of oil. I pulled the valve cover and the oil was NOT milky. I ran the compression test after the retorque and resulted 190-200-210-215. So compression checks out ok. The car doen't overheat and runs fine and pulls hard.
After talking to my mechanic friend he told me it might be the radiator overheating because I have one 10" fan to cool the radiator and that the turbo heats up the coolant faster than N/A engines. We discussed how the coolant in the radiator would boil, creating enough pressure to open the rad cap to overflow the reservoir tank. He recommended I intall another fan and have it on all the time (i have a gsr radiator). After a hard run, I quickly stopped at his shop and the tank was full until he put a floor fan in front of the car and the coolant quickly sucked back into the radiator. i'm probably going to install a lower temp thermostat to see if that helps.
Anyone with opinions on what I should do or any thoughts on what could be the problem(s)???

do a leak down test. Compression tests dont tell you everything you need to know. I had a car do 210 205 205 210 but leak down said 40% in #3. 10% is limit in performance application. Do a leak down test or better yet, if they have the chemical tester for blown head gaskets, all the better
