Oil return issue....

Oil return issue....
Ok on my last turbo set up i tapped the oil pan with a barbed fitting to match that size of the fitting off my old turbo, also i had a ram horn so i was able to run the return with out a problem. this is a really tight squeeze and this is the best i could do with what i had at the moment.
will this work or is it too much of an angle?
not looking to get flamed for the looks, im not worried about that, i know it will not leak and thats all i care about. Thanks.

i hope you have set of extra seals for that turbo, that kink in the return line will cause too much negative pressure in the turbo.

Re: Oil return issue.... (RCautoworks)
just cut about 1inch out of the line and it will work but if you have to you can cut more out of it. i had to do it with my old turbo set-up. just make sure it is going down so it can drain back.

Yes, you should definately clock that. My old oil return line looked a lot better then that and was a lot higher, but still dipped a bit. It was fine on normal drives, but when I got on the freeway. Man, it was like a morning fog on a sunny afternoon day.

what lines do you suggest? i ran this same type hose on my last set up without problems.

I can only recommend steel-braided line, but any high-temp thick rubber lines would work for it. But I've never been a fan of just using a rubber line as it wouldn't protect the line much if you were to hit something, or have something fly up there.
I personally would worry to much about it, then again oil is crucial to your motors life.
