Im building a b16 with darton open deck sleeves ,golden eagle block guard, wisco 8:8 pistons, eagle rods,and am planing on oem bearings . I am wondering if to run a kms high pressure pump or a oem type r pump. thanks

 

Are you going to run an oilcooler ? more specificly an air oilcooler. Then upgrading the oil system isnt bad.

Remember that the Type R oil pump is the same part # as the GSR , B16 . So its not an upgrade to your b16a2 pump ( if thats what you have ).

 

i was planning on piping in a oil cooler before it got to the turbo.
