metal shavings in oil are never a good thing, i would think its time to pull the engine and start breaking it apart. but i bet after you pull the rod caps you are going to find some dead bearings.

i always fear oil pressure, so fluidamper crank pulley and moroso warning oil light.

All you can do is check every rod and every main. You might be ok if there is not a bunch of muck (aluminum mud) in the pan.
DON'T FORGET to check the thrust washes also, especially the rear one.
And get rid of that pulley.

in the process right now of doing all of this, crank pulley being a pain....i am gonna check everything and it seems like the crank is ok...the oil might of saved me and i kept the rpm low....i will post up again thx PS the oil pan had clean looking oil, still looked fresh from my change about 400 miles ago and no muck in the pan very clean looking and fresh. Most f the shaving were at the way bottom and lil light ones mostly...could i maybe be saved?

nice! looking good so far, so are you using the same bearings and just have to change the pump?

ahh, I feel the relief even when its not my car... soo many times I ran into issues and figure out whats the worst it could be... mostly to find that it IS the worst it can be.

those few times it turns out to be less then the worst are great! good luck getting it back running again
