Re: Tuning: Vafc1 or 2 (hotimportcrx)
for the cost of the vafc you can buy a chipped p28 (125 if you buy from me, comes with two chips) 75 bucks for a conversion harness... theres your full fuel/ignition managemnet right there

Re: Tuning: Vafc1 or 2 (wantboost)
yea i would i dont have the $$$ for that right now
-obd1 Distributor 150
-4 wire 02 sensor 50
-obd 1 ECU 125
-Conversion Harness 110
Then tune like 150-300
because i would get just the ecu and 2 chips but the only real way to tune it is to the setting of the actual car..when its in front of you

nice thing about the afc2 is being able to have 2 maps saved(race gas / pump gas) other than that they do the same thing

lets see, he want to run 15, 16psi on the vafc2 with no ignition adjustability, at that boost lelve, teh vafc is gonna force the ecu into the wrong ignition table value for a given load.rpm cell. know what happens then???? boom.
and i ure as **** wouldnt risk my motor with a vafc2... esp. on race gas

he asked a question, what were the tuning differences, he got an answer.
