My pan is the same way. Makes the oil drain a bitch. I had no oil anywhere but around the drain gasket. Maybe some sort of fitting needs to be put on the oil pan.. like a 45 degree.

actually, that may be ur problem. @ my friends shop they had some issues w/ -4 feed lines and they went to the -3 and it fixed it. specifically on the 4-bolt turbo's because the(humm whats it called?) "hole where the oil enters the turbo in the CHRA" allows for alot more flow then then 5bolt CHRA. if anyone has pics of both turbo's you could see the difference.

hrmmm, thank you for that!
I HOPE it thats.
I had to come to school today so I fired the car up and yeah, it smokes a tiny bit. i thought it was fuel at first but its not dark enough for fuel.(im sick so i cant smell it right now) it only does it for a min or so right at start up. ( I remember my mom telling me I needed a tune up because my car puffed from a stop..this was about 3 weeks ago i thought it was fuel cause its tuned rich, but it couldve been oil)

When I went to do emissions i had high (nitrogen..i htink) i cant remember exactly. Anyways, scott, you said i could be burning some oil(and we thought it was from my mis shift) well turns out it could be from the turbo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

direp, that is some good info!

I guess ill buy some -3 stuff this weekend and swap it over..
is there anythign else i should do/try?

i think your return looks awesome... a slight angle wont matter. there will be a slight upward force, yes, but there is a much greater downward one.

Jon, all you need to do is restrict it somewhat at the feed line into the turbo....like if you got a -4 to -3 adapter/reducer, or a restrictor to go inline.

Definitely swap out your -4 line to a -3 line. After about 5k miles on my 60-1 i noticed some oil burning past the turbo. Switched to a -3an and all was fixed.

hrmm, this is interesting!
because everyone recommends using -4. (well most of the time) it wasnt till after I had bought my stuff i saw a few saying to use -3.
I need a longer line anyways scott so ill just buy a whole wack of -3 stuff.
