Default Oil Feed HELP!

So I have a question, sorry ahead of time for being a noob with boost.

Question- I just bolted up my turbo and intercooler piping etc. and noticed that my oil drain line on the turbo is more towards the top rather than the bottom. Is this bad, or will the oil still drain to the oil pan fine?

Thanks in advance! Oh and I did try to search.

You need to "clock" the turbo so that the drain is facing straight down. Loosen the bolts around the center section "CHRA" and rotate the turbine and compressor housings to your likings and so that the drain is pointing straight down.

I said bolts, but some turbos have a V-band and a big spring clip.

You need to loosen the bolts on both sides of the turbine and compressor housing and clock the center section so that the oil drain is pointed straight down, or close to it. You want the oil return to gravity feed back to the oil pan.

put a bspt fitting in the back of the block where the oil pressure sensor is, then run a line to the firewall and tee off that.

DO NOT PUT A TEE ON THE ENGINE.

Tee's work fine. Just don't run anything other than the tee, oil feed line, and stock oil pressure sensor off it. More than half of this board runs tee's and they work with no problems. Don't overtighten the fitting.

I run a T directly off my engine, one to the sensor and one for the feedline. No issues here.

Just do whatever makes you sleep better at night, but I've seen many cars running a T off the block (feed line and OEM press. sender) without any issues.

Just make sure you get one that is 1/8 BSPT to NPT, not NPT to NPT.
