oil cooler 5gen civic hatch
I'm having problems with my oil cooler..I really don't know where to mount it..I think there is no free room if I want to keep my A/C...Maybe on the side of the front bumper??Please guys post some pics of your oil cooler setups and give me some advice..Another problem is in bumper, becouse it's so full without any hole which means
baddish air flow on the cooler..
This is my oil cooler and my fat IC..This is old car, I moved turbo kit on 93 civic hatch.

NOT to sound like I'm flaming you but...whut the f**k is up with those yellow ropes? Don't tell me that was what you had to hold up the FMIC? That is GAYTO dude. You have enough money for a swap and FI but not enough to make some decent brackets. DAYEM!!

Take a look at the picture more before replying. Obviosuly everythnig is still in mockup mode. Would he really run his turboed car without hose clamps? I think not

I hear these just put unessary strain on our already less then terrific oil pumps...
And the gain's are not worht the risks that's why there fairly uncommon on Honda's...
I wonder what kind of truth there is to that?

Yea i'm wondering the same thing. Does anybody think it would be benificial to maybe shim the oil pump spring thing to increase a little more pressure.

Re: (jure)
Are you sure that you need an oil cooler? What kind of oil temps are running? Get an oil temp gauge and run your car for a while and see what kind of tems your running, then go from there. Hondas are designed to run higher oil temps from what I have read when I searched on HT for what kind of oil temps peole run. 200 hotter dont seem to be umcommon at all... Let us know what you decide.

Re: Re: (jure)
what about cutting out one of the fog light holes on the hatch/coupe and mount it behind the hole for that? that way you have airflow directly into it like the FMIC?
I've been contemplating doing it like this, kinda like the skyline setup.
