Default oh no ... boom!!!

I was at the track friday nite making some final passes before the engine comes out a couple of weeks.

and on the second pass, boost controller set at 10psi, The pass was going great probably well into the 13s, shifted into forth gear and felt a loss of power looked at the J&S and it was lit up like an xmas tree looked a little further and the peak hold on the boost controller said 1 kg/cm2 coasted to a 14.1@103. I am not sure why it went that high on this pass it was set the same way all day and stayed on 10psi but i guess it wanted to see 14.22psi before the engine came out.

Drove home and parked it ... started it up this a.m. to find nice blue smoke coming from the tail pipe!

So when i take the engine apart in a couple of weeks i guess i will see what broken ring lands look like

It will be back in spring better then ever, with a hondata, 720cc, and a new bottem end

oh yeah the limit on 310cc injectors and VP 103 is 11psi and no more!!

well 14psi, running out of fuel and going lean, 17degrees of timing BTM turned off!!

It only takes it one good blast of det. before the J&S cuts in to do the damage under that load. I think the J&S saved me from putting a rod throu the block and for that i am very thankful that i am just doing the re-build i planned and not looking for a new block right now!!

Sorry to hear that man. I am in the same boat, blew mine on 15psi. Melted the number one piston and broke the rings on the number three. Getting ready to send my motor to JG on monday for a Pro Series long block.
