Default OBD1 clips with DSM 450's

I have heard that if you tirm the little piece on the inside of the injector.. they fit well in to 0bd1 injector clips.
I search all over and this is the best Post i could find.

Yes just cut down that piece INSIDE the injector to get them to fit.
Dont cut the tabs that are on the side cause thats what holds them in the injector clips.

(Shameless plug here--&gt PS If you need a Resistor box I have some for sale. Mine have the OEM connector on them for a solderless install. PM me.

inside top part of injector, in the middle there is a plastic guide for when you put the clip on.

Take a blow torch and a coat hanger, heat up the coat hanger on one end and when it is red hot, melt out the little tab in the top of the injector. Do that to each one and they stock honda obd1 clips go right on perfectly.

I did this and have not had any problems what so ever.

Edit: in the link you posted, the part you cut out is numbered 3.

Or if you dont have a blow torch in your garage you can use an Exacto blade. Thats what I used.

It's pretty simple. You just cut the tab. Put the clip next to the injector, analyze. Realize that the tab is the obstruction. Remove tab. Use as normal!

They are talking about OBD1 clips. OBD2 clips dont fit at all so you would have to switch to OBD1 or OBD0 clips instead.

P.S. I have a set of OBD0 injector clips in the for sale if anyone needs some.
