major update made to the editor: http://www.pgmfi.org/phorum/re...=3104
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">heres an update, I switched the tables to a buffer for editing instead of editing on the fly. This will create much more accurate modifications sicne there arent any compunded rounding errors anymore. The program re-calculates everything when you save.
I also removed ALS since i only got feedback form 1 person and he was having trouble.
I also revised my map table formula, I feel the new formula is much more accurate. And I switched the vacuum unit of measure from mBar to in/Hg since my boost/vacuum guage doesnt have mbar **** on it
i'm not releasing the 3bar editor.</TD></TR></TABLE>
heres the link to the updated editor: http://www.pgmfi.org/phorum/do...a.exe

Re: (ArtOwnzMe)
Well I finally got chance to try this software last night on my turbo d16z6 with dsm 450s and so far I am very pleased with the results. I am very new to tuning and these maps on the newer versions are not intimadting or confusing at all, looks way better than the erm. Having the tables in psi (and in hg now) makes it really easy for novices like me that arent use to thinking in milibar, you dont really have to think at all, just tune away. My first map I started out by applying my vafc hack settings directly to the table in their corresponding rpms. I set the vafc to 0 all the way accross and it started up and idled fine but was pretty rich. My very first map drove pretty decent for my first attempt. In boost the fuel was perfect with the air/fuel staying in the upper 11s but never quite going past 12 and the car pulled noticably harder than it did with the hack, I have not had to touch the boost maps yet since my first inital guess. In vaccuum howevever I was way off and was way to rich everywhere, air fuel was 10 or less in the upper rpms and it would fall on its face and trip code 3 around 0psi if you were going easy on the throttle. After a few more quick flashes to lean it out its driving pretty much like a stock boosted car and the codes are staying away even though its still too rich and needs more tuning tonight. The honda ecu has no problems with the dsm injectors so far, it idles perfect. Overvall im pleased so far and expect to get all the hiccups tuned out tonight. I cant belive how easy it was for me to get it runnin well with so little tuning. I have not gotten to try the launch contorl since my speedo is currently not funtional but hopefully that will be working this weekend. I cant wait to see more features like the boost control. I would happily pay for 3 bar support as well if that was ever released. Keep up the good work!

Re: (rioninja)
I dunno if Joseph knows, but I'll be using his assistance soon too.....hopefully.
Here's my basic train of thought...
I have no money
I have an intercooler
I want boost
I should talk to joseph cause he is a hardcore samurai ************

Re: (SQUANTO)
I got a pile of DIY-WB boards, hit me up.
*edit*
I'm not trying to sell **** here, had a couple guys asking me. http://www.diy-wb.com sells them ~$4.50/per. I was just letting Joe/SQUANTO know, as he lives an hour away and visits occaisionally.

Re: (J. Davis)
Sorry for the noob question, but i was lookin around, and i didn't find a definite answer.
The P72 OBDI ECU from what i understand is the best to use, will a P30 or P28 work as well?
This is for a b16a2
Thanks

Re: (si_mekanik)
a p72 is a waste of money on a b16 since it doesnt have iab's. Ge the p30, or the p28 if u dont want a knock sensor.

I also fixed the fubar'd boost fuel maps. So it doesnt get pig rich the second u get into boost I also added IACV adjustment, and tps tip-in adjustment. Do not ******* copy my code or make your editor edit my roms, this goes for you john! Write your own **** and dont copy

On this new editor, the boost portion fo the fuel and ign maps arent initilized, so you musty click on the boost tab and set the ign retard and the boost fuel.

Re: (ArtOwnzMe)
P72 is a waste of money even if you want IABs. Tracing the circuitry from A17 and installing $0.17 of components on 11F0 or 1720 mobo is much cheaper than $200+ stunna hype homosexuality.
And, Blake, you fucktard, you FINALLY got IACV routine working correctly. Needs an adjustment @ the idle set screw (sitting at 1000 rpm, not 750), but sliding the IACV bar far right brings the Y8 IACV under control.
