An ecu to replace a p28 in 94 Civic EX
I have a stock 94 civic ex. I am giving it to my nephew (car is beat up) but want to keep the p28 for later. Is there a cheaper, easy to get ecu that will still work okay in the car that I could swap the p28 for. Even if the vtec no longer worked I wouldn't care. He won't either, the car is free for him.

P28's are not terribly expensive or difficult to find. If you're that concerned about it, just ask your nephew for $50, and leave the ECU with the car for him.

Re: An ecu to replace a p28 in 94 Civic EX (Padawan)
Came through again with some good advice. Are they that cheap? Seems like they are more like 250-200 dollars everywhere I look? Maybe ebay just sucks ***. (it does)

I see them selling for around $100-$150 in the Markeplace. Factor in the cost of buying the replacement, and you aren't really saving much.
