I have a OBD2 JDM GSR into a EJ8, 98 ex. I am unsure what ECU to use. Keep in mind that later I will be puting Neptune in it. Should I go with a OBD1 ECU p28?
I am very clueless when it comes to ECU's.

I would like to stay OBD2 also if its possible.

 

you could use an obd-1 Gsr ecu. Then when you want to chip it for neptune it will work too.

 

Staying OBD2 != tuning your car.

Are you in a strict emissions area?

 

to go neptune as far as i know, like anyother program like it, you need to go obd1. the only option that i know of with obd2 is e manage/ultimate?

 

A guy on PGMFI.org made a OBDII simulator... relaying info fron the datalogging port; in OBDII format through an OBDII port...


I plan to get one, and pass the cali sniffer test with one.
