What kind of nozzels are the best to design an intercooler spray. It has to be no **** sprayer, it has to ba a atomized spray all over the i/c.
aquamist is currently the only company who can properly atomize water the jets run $16.00 dollars a peice and range in sizes of .4mm to 1.0mm
if you are interested in purchasing some give us a call at georges imports the number is 816-333-6582 ask for brad and tell him your from honda tech.

bahaha, yeah...aquamist, says aquamist
I'm sure there are other industrial applications that could serve the same purpose, but might not be manufactured for the auto industry.

i was thinking about this for a while and thought to myself, can't i just run a tee fitting off the windshield wiper tank and use regular windshield water sprayers? i figured since i'd be running at high speeds the air would evaporate the water and have some cooling effects on the intercooler. is this a bad idea?
Water on the intercooler is actually better for low speeds since at high speeds, the intercooler is getting so much air to cool it. Your way would work with the fluid washer, but if track officals find it, they wont allow it since it can wet down the track.......Mike
LOL ! I highly doubt that Aquamist is the only company with nozzles that do this. You might want to look into air coolers at Home Depot... Some compnay makes a mist setup that cools you down on hot summer days... you know you've seen it on TV a couple years ago ! Just keep looking. $16 for a nozzle is a rip.
the water sprayers that your reffering to do not atomize the water like the aquamist nozzles. if you saw both of these nozzles spray the aquamist ones have a much finner mist and are made of higher quality materials to resist vibration and heat. trust me i dont sell aquamist i am only passing on the word of a good product that i use. these nozzles are used on the wrc rally cars and they work
