Intercooler Water sprayers
Anybody ever put any sprayers to spray water on the intercooler? i only got one run out of it before track officials pulled me asside and made me "fix my leak" My sprayer nozels were from drip irrigation and were leaking constantly. However my one pass i did make with them was my best ET all day. 13.08 @ 113
This is what i had.. kinda ghetto fab, but has some possiblitys if i find some nozels that dont leak. (only cost $2)
It worked off the windshield wiper pump. just hold down the mist and it sprayed a nice mist across the intercooler.

good idea Another thing you can do with the spray nozzle is run it over each of your front tires for burn outs. What i did with mine was run it in the front of the bumper, and i spray people that walk in front of me.

Just dont spray it on the line, (you shouldn't need to) but it does just spray a light mist, I doubt it would even hit the ground to make it wet.

Gravity would take care of the dripping if you flipped the setup to come up from the bottom so the tubes were lower than the nozzles...you've got the tubing filled with water so once the pump stops it's gonna drain somewhere. I think alot of it depends on the track officials...my local track would give you the boot for using it even if it didn't drip.
