not holding boost!!!!!!!!!! HELPP!!
hey guys heres my problem... my setup is an b18b1, turbonetics turbo, external turbonetics evo wastegate, vortex bov, golden eagle vacum mani, fmic, 450 dsm's at 9psi..now it runs great and im happy with the track times but if im cruisin' on the highway and im not in boost when i hit the throttle it sounds like my wastegate starts fluttering and the boost gauge starts jumpin all over the place????? and the wastegate is fairly new and so is the bov..ive been playing with the bov adjustment but it doesnt seem to be making much of a difference..... the turbo has the vaccum fitting on it soo i hooked the wastegate straight to the turbo and the bov to the vaccum mani... idk what to doo!!! im thinking either the wastegate is no good or the turbo is no good but it preforms great when i abuse it..... any suggestions or advice is greatly appriciated

Fluttering is one thing, but does it just flutter all the way to redline or does it flutter for a second or two and then go into full boost.
If it does the latter, your turbo is hitting the surge point.

the boost gauge only jumps for a second or two then hits full boost...... what can i do to prevent it from hitting its surge point? is it something to worry about?

well post your setup up and maybe someone will have a better idea or at least be able to look for a weak point?
