okay, heres the deal...my car is not boosting, according to my boost gauge. the thing is, when i feel the dumptube, its hot, but when i feel the intercooler piping coming right off the turbo, its cold...so could it be that my wastegate spring is too low? its supposed to be a 7psi spring, but the guy might have sent the wrong one...at 3psi, would the boost gauge still register it at that low of boost?

 

the boost gauge should measure any amount of boost.

 

The dump tube is going to get hot whenever the car is running, boost or not.

 

figured it out...nm...I had to put in the washer that goes between the flange and the wastegate...problem solved.
