I think you are refering to Direct Port Nitrous Injection.

Direct Port & Plate systems seem to be the most reliable for BIG shots of nitrous. Not to mention more consistant.

The main advantage of it over the "intake" fed nitrous shot, is that it is distributing an equal amount into each cylinder, and spraying directly into the cylinder. Very effecient.

So it's a nitrous kit that is intended SOLELY for cooling the intake manifold?

I can see small gains as a result. . . but not enough to be worth it IMO.

For a cooling agent - co2 is primo, and more cost effective.

If you're really that concerned about your IM temp, get a hondata IM gasket and call it a day.

You lost me Blue.

I can't make sense of your last post.

Were you trying to say that people told you NOT to put it under the hood?

It is NOT good to let Co2 go into your engine - that is correct.

How does this Intake Manifold cooler you are speaking of work. Does the manifold itself get sprayed directly?

ur saying that it just sprays on the IM to cool it? U will gain more power just using nitrous the way its susposed to be used. Just get a good wet kit and move on.
