Default NOS blow up

A friend of mine who's father is in to racing big time and has 3 stock cars that he races ( not him , he has a driver), his mechanic who knows and can do pretty much anything even work on and build transmissions, said that if you get just one drop of water mixed in with the nos as you are triggering it, ................you'll blow up!!!!! Has anyone else heard of this?

That's stupid. If it were true, the moisture in the air with the nos would blow you motor too. I think he was pulling your leg.

I thought so to, because what about the water that condensates in the gas tank? What does everyone else think?
