sorry it is about .5" from the turbo flange on the manifold . the boost guage i have does not work so i have no idea how much i am boosting so i NEED to know about the egt's. right now i am trying to stay way out of boost and i have it as rich as i possibly can unti i can get a guage. this weekend i am going to go have my car tuned and the exhaust ran so i will hopefully have some #s for you guys on sunday. thanks for the info.

Just don't even boost. EGT's tell you nothing unless you have a solid baseline. If you run too cold, you can be detonating if your too hot it may be nothing. Just don't boost get it tuned then use the EGT to tell you if you are out of normal operating temps that you got at the dyno...get it?
