ok, i'm getting ready to purchase a sohc greddy turbo kit and i have a few questions referring about this set-up...
1. as far as the turbo kit and d-series motor goes, will i be ok running 2.5" exhaust pipe?
2. is there anything wrong with using a bigger FMIC than i need too?
3. when buying a BOV, is there anything i should look for?
4. how important or necessary is it for me to have a boost controller and boost gauge?

-the motor has 115,xxx miles and has never been abused-
BTW, i'm brand new to the turbo scene, so if you guys have any advices, suggestions, or comments, please feel free to post 'em. i'm always open to learn something new! thanks and cheers

1. Yes
2. NO, just know that the bigger you go, the more likely you are to enconter pressure drop.
3. Make sure it works.
4. Boost controller is not neccasary as long as you are happy with the pre set boos levl. A boost gauge is nice to have so you can monitor what the turbo is doing and ensure that you are not over boosting. I say yes to the boost gauge.

-at 115k miles...might wanna consider a compression check.
-same some money for incidentals...most likely something will break due to stress....be ready to fix or replace.
-don't boost over 10psi on stock internals unless you have damn good tuner
-research! research! research!
