Noob question: Is there a way to bleed off boost based on engine RPM?
Just need an answer. Is it possible to bleed boost from a turbo based on engine RPM. For example can you have the turbo boost from say 3 to 6k and when 6 k hits bleed all the boost so it doesn't reenter the intake manifold?
I know the BOV controls boost creep but it is based on a setting correct?
If this is possible what would one need to accomplish it?
Thanks.

well, here is osmething that might work(besides just taking your foot off the pedal, lol),get a msd rpm switch with a 6k pill in it,the a evap purge solinoid, run it to the vacuum on the wastegate,so when the msd hits 6k it closes the evap val;ve and should open the wastegate to make it quit feeding the intake.sounds like it might work?

Why would you want to do this? I'm sure that there is some kind of electronic boost controller that could accomplish this. What is your reasoning for this, maybe there's some other way to accomplish your goal?
