Default Noob Question Boost Adjustmen

how do i lower my boost without a Boost controller? cause i want to fire my motor and make sure everything is on right and working correctly. ect... is there anyway to control or limit it before i get a EBC or MBC? and p.s. where should i tap my autometer boost gauge at?

Just don't go into boost until you make sure everything is ok. What will you be using to tune the car? The wastegate will control boost. What spring are you using? Tap the boost gauge into a vacuum line connected to the intake manifold.

You cant really lower the boost pressure at all. If its an internal wastegate, you can increase the pressure(I believe) by shortening the arm to the actuator, but i dont think theres a way to lengthen it to lessen boost pressure.

To stay out of boost, just dont accelerate very fast, and itll be fine.

What PSI spring do you have in the wastegate?

Well that will be your lowest possible setting (unless you get different spring). With a boost controller, you will only be able to go up starting at 7psi.
