Default NO BOOST!!! NEED HELP!!! STRESSED OUT!!

well i just put together a homemade turbo kit from my d16z6 and i'm getting no boost. all my piping are welded and bootted properly. my questions are:

-why am i not getting any boost? i have a saab turbo(.42/.48 a/r) with a internal wastegate. when the wastegate is closed all the way, i only get 1 psi or sometimes none. i thought when the wastegate is closed all the way, i should get the maximum of boost off the turbo. i don't know why i'm notting getting any boost. i know the acuater is working because i could see the rod moving when i rev up the engine.

-second, my fuel pressure is reading 50 psi on dsm 450. is that a bit high? when i pull out my spark plugs and look at them, they seem like they are covered with gas. i just installed a fpr and its not working. its still reading 50 psi when its screwed all the way out.

1. the arm should not be moving when you just rev it. it should have a load on it and reach the set amount of boost before it opens. sounds like a wastegate problem to me.

2. yea 50 psi is kinda high for idle, do you have a vacum leak??? and whats your fuel setup??? what motor etc.
