NO BOOST!!!! HELP! PLEASE! CONFUSED!
ok so im running a d15b in my ek hatch. dsm inj, walboro, 50trim, 38m waste, eztune.... but anyways my car has pushes 20vacm and when i rev it, it wont build any boost it just goes to 0. i put a fitting on the oil feed port on the turbo that was pretty big cuz i thought thats what you were supposed to use but i guess your suppose to use a tiny fitting. i think i blew my turbo cuz i have no leaks and everything is perfectly setup. blew the seals because of too much oil. oh and it did smoke for a while and the turbo STOPPED SPINNING when started for a few seconds and did that A FEW TIMES!!!! yeah i think its donezoe. soooo0o i bought a brand new turbo with the small fitting that is suppose to go with and am putting it on tommorrow. so i just wanted some opinions on what you thought was the problem, any thoughts???
well i just dont know if that was the problem. i was confused cuz i wasnt boosting at all. no BOV nothing! so i was just checking so when i put it on tomorrow i know for sure ill boost and be happy : )
im srry guys for not getting more in depth, but yes i was revving it and then i drove it around and still no boost. it felt like it pulled once at like 7k-8k but thats it. im ganna put the new turbo on with the small fitting and see what happens. if this continues ill post today with more info.

do you have any leaks in the charge pipping connections or intercooler?, do you have a boost guage on the car what does it read when you drive the car at wot
ok, here is what is going on with this car...
Things we changed out today:
Turbo (still a emusa 50 trim)
Oil feed line
Oil fittings on turbo
today we swapped the turbo for a new one and it didn't want to boost but it did spin fine, sounded a lot better and have any issues. The i noticed that the blow off valve wasn't shutting at idle, so i stacked washers inside (rfl knock-off). it started to boost at 6k revs inconsistently.....
i believe its go to be the waste gate. its a emusa 38mm ewg. right now we have it connected to the vacuum manifold. I think tomorrow we are pulling the turbo and putting a air feed port into the cold side of the turbo. the old one had one, but the new one does not. So im thinking that our screw up is the waste gate needs to be directly plugged into the turbo through the side nipple (which we are installing tomorrow.)
our blow off valve is connected to the vacuum manifold, which i believe is where it is suppose to be connected, correct?
Also on our ewg we are connecting it from the bottom of the waste gate and blocking off the top. is this correct? should the top be unplugged or ran to another line or anything?
also is there like an oil gallery plug on the back of the block? because our oil sandwich plate is leaking..... the thing is a piece. so i know that on other cars there are plugs in the block that you can undo and put a sensor or a feed line in. if anyone could tell me or show me where it would go then that would be awesome.
There is no leak to my knowlege in the charge piping or any part of the intercooler. as for the boost gauge, we have one... its rather shitty but i guess it works. at wot from 3-6 it stays at 0 then from 6+ it starts building boost but its not fast enough to really matter and at that point we have to shift. At idle the boost gauge reads 23 vac which is correct so the boost gauge is hooked up correctly and working, (to an extent). The car doesnt feel much faster till 6k+ i would say.
any help that you can think of or if you see an error please, please let me know. if you couldnt tell my friend honda_hackett is rather stressed right now and if you guys can think of anything please feel free to chime in.

Try a Tial wastegate. If the gate is opening up too early or leaking, it wouldnt let the boost build. Also look to see if your BOV is always open, or does it actuate open and closed like it is supposed to?
since we added the washers i believe the bov is fine. my buddy hooked the wastegate to the intercooler cold side right b4 the throttle body and says it runs alot better. but still not its full potential. im ganna test drive it tomorrow when we get the oil leak fixed.
