Car: 2000 Civic hatchback with D16 non vtec motor. Automatic tranny.
Nitrous kit: NOS 50 shot wet kit

This install was for my friend's car. We finished the install last week, and here is the problem.

When you floor it, the car bogs....as if you had downshift the car to a much lower gear.

I remove the intake, turn on the nitrous and I can see nitrous coming out of the nozzle. I know for sure it does shoot the nitrous and fuel, because I can see the nitrous and smell the fuel. It seems like the system is working like how it should as far was releasing the nitrous and fuel. I cant figure out why the car bogs when we jump on the nitrous.

We test drove for about 4 times and each times it bogs. We then later notice the check engine light came on. Anyone have an idea whats going on?

i dont think you need fuel for a 50 shot. if the engine is pretty much stock all you need to do is spray the nitrous. the cel is probably on because the 02 is reading the extra fuel that your giving it and the ecu doesnt know where its coming from.

 

it sounds like it's just getting fuel and no nitrous have you actually had someone press the pedal and make sure the full throttle switch is activating check that
