im putting a 100 shot on.i want to have some sort of progressive type controller but i dont care to spend $400+ DOLLARS FOR ONE.i though of a possable way to make a 3 step controller.using a 3 window rpm switch,with 1500,2500 and 3500 pills,then using 2 radio shack potentiometers(msp).i would wire the 2 pots up with the 1500 and 2500 pills,adjust the voltage on them to allow them to NOT open all the way,then at 3500 no pot becuase it would be at full voltage.i could use the pots to adjust the voltage to what ever my car will handle traction wise.

does this make any sense,could it be done any other way??input please

Your potentiometer idea might not work that well, try rather using a 3 way controller that pulses the solenoids... even a 2 stage will be fine, you don't really need a 3 stage...

Is this for a direct port? of mixed?

 

im going to be using a wet nx kit.so the controllers actually pulse the soliniods?that makes since.where can i find a 2 stage from??

 

You have 2 options, you can buy 2 kits, one without a bottle, or you can get a V8 kit, since the V8 kits have 2 sets of solenoids, you can use it as a 2 stage.
