NISSAN SR20 T25..worth rebuilding?
i have a t25 from a red top sr20..
im newb to turbo as i was more of an NA guy. my plans are to boost a stock b16..most likely in the lower than 10psi range and i hear a smaller turbo will spool faster with less lag so ive considered using it.
the problem is it has some not a lot but some shaft play and there evidance that oil was leaking through
is it this turbo worth rebuilding?
and if so how much am i looking to spend? ballpark...
thanks

Re: NISSAN SR20 T25..worth rebuilding? (SINFULintegXsi)
From what ive HEARD (noob to the turbo game also) is that the t25 is too small, and will looose its steam up top, , but it all depends on how much whp u want? I saw your other thread about beefin up the b16a for boost, (w/o internals) so IMO the t25 may be a able to support ur 250-275 hp goals...
correct me if im wrong someone...
bump for an sd kat
EDIT: maybe it will be able to support ur needs...cause the t25 is capable of around 200 hp when bolted to the redtop....so i dunno??
