Default Long term Turbo use

I want to t or s charge my 00 SiR, now I am looking for reliability and ease of maintence. Now im not a mechanic and I dont want to have to **** around with it all the time. How reliable is an aftermarket Turbo setup in a Civic\Honda? what problems could you run into? Am I gonna blow the **** out of my engine cuz it cant handle it? Are these engines made to handle the extra boost? Please only answers from people who know what they are talking about and thanks!

it depends on you. a sensible driver, can make a turbo motor last as long as a stock one. BUT, having turbo means always tinkering with something.....If you don't want that, you don't want turbo.

Go with turbo and build your moter with stronger internals and just watch what you boost and if your motor ever does blow buy another one. I say a B18C5 and boost that **** too. Ive heard a saying on honda-tech that once you go FI youll never go back.

Ive been wanting boost ever since i drove my freinds GSR Turbo and god damn those mothfrs fly.
