ok so i bought a cheap turbo xs-power turbo kit. i know im stupid. but i decided to get name brand stuff now. so i ordered a blog turbo mani and tial 38mm wastegate. when i got the wastegate and everything put on i ran the car w/o a boost controller and hit 15psi. i ordered the wastegate with a 7psi spring. when i put the boost controller on. i did what the paper said (instructions) for the vacuum lines. the instrcutions said that it was on its lowest setting. well im still hitting 15psi. i havent had time to adjust the controller any. but i was wondering if anyone can help me out....thanks and please no bashing

 

open up the wastegate and check what color/size spring it has in it

 

yeah check the spring color. also completely unhook the boost controller and see what psi you are getting. eliminates any installation error.
