Ok i'm new here, and fairly new to FI. So go easy on me...

Heres my setup

95 DX hatch
d16y8 top, and bottom
eagle ords w/arp bolts
standard bore vitara 8.4:1 pistons
ACL racing series main bearing, and rod bearing
d16z6 cam gear
arp head studs
a polished crankshaft
with a new oil pump, timing belt, water pump ext
rev hard turbo kit t3/t4 50 trim
440cc injectors
p06 vtec conversion chip
hondata s200


Dont think I missed anything.
Just a couple of questions.

First what oil do you guys reccomend? Of cource mobil one synthetic, but what weight would be best? I live somewhere cold if that will make a difference.

Its on 8lbs of boost right now, but will probably go up to 12 soon after I finish the break in.
Its not my daily driver and it was tuned at 12psi, but I was wondering how safe you guys thought 12 lbs is, and if it is safe how high could I go before I started to get into that grey area where I might start breaking things?

Also, I havent been driving it in the rain, but was wondering if it was a bad idea?

come on you turbo gurus I know you're out there.

 

15psi with those injectors is all i have seen people run. u use a y8 oil pump? been told the z6 pump is more solid at higher rpm.
