Default new to boost

I will be putting turbo on my GSR sometime in the next few months, here is the setup I am currently planning.....

Turbonetics T3/T4
Type R or Skunk 2 turbo cams
Type R transmission
ACT stage II clutch kit
Toda cam gears
OBD I conversion
SAFC
bigger injectors (don't know what size I need)
second fuel pump
2.5" exhaust back to Spoon N1
Zex nitrous kit for intercooler

I will only be running 8psi (don't wanna **** with the block). Is there anything I am missing here? I am new to forced induction and I don't want to **** it up my first time. If I am missing anything or if this isn't a good setup please let me know. TIA!

there is only one fuel pump, and you need upgrade up from stock, i would run hondata over the SAFC, if your converting to obd1 then Uberdata is an option as well, also wastegate, bov, i would just get 550cc injectors, or at least 440cc. I have 460cc for sale if your interested. Also good tuning when the install is complete, that is the most important part.

I forgot to mention the HKS BOV and I think the guy I am getting it from said he as a wastegate. The fuel pump thing I ment run dual fuel pumps (if that sounds retarded or not possible, like I said I'm new to this). What size are the stock injectors? I wanna know how much bigger 460cc or 550cc is than stock.

Also the hondata, is the S200 the only one they make or are there better ones?

stock if i remember correctly is like 210 or 240cc, i cant remember exactly. a single walbro 255 fuel pump can support up to 500hp. Hondata s200 is thier newest program, previous was the s100. If you want better than go standalone ems.

If your going for 250hp, you can use the cam's that are already in your GSR. Also, you won't use two fuel pumps, the Walbro 255 is perfect for what you want. You can use 550cc injectors. Tuning is important so you might want to invest in more than the SAFC. Your best bet is probably Hondata. The AEM EMS might be a little bit overkill for your goals. Also, uberdata is something you should take a look at.

Have you considered turbo kits or do you want to piece it together yourself?

Unless your dead set on OBD1 I would go with hondata because it allows for more future expansion. As we all know you will want more and faster. Just my two pesos.

Oh and the other dude up there was right gsr cams will be fine for what your planning on making right now you can always upgrade later but I would save the cash right now and use that money to go toward hondata.

Jeff,
I am also stationed at Dover AFB. I am an Uberdata tuner as well. If around 250whp is your goal go w/ some 440's (DSM 450's if on a budget). I charge $175 for a street tune. I can get you squared away and help you obatin far beyond your goals . PM me on here or find me on base. Thanks.

Phil
