Default Negative voltage on O2 sensor

I'm assuming that when the voltage is negative that means that the engine is running absurdly rich? I just got my turbo in and am running NO downpipe, and have the O2 sensor right on the turbine outlet. It's showing me a negative voltage alot and I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm running dsm 450's and a circuit that scales the MAP sensor output ala. VAFC hack. I still need to tweak the circuit, but I'm not 100% sure which way to go. My EGT doesn't go above 1000º on short pulls (I'm not boosting yet) and the turbine has alot of black soot on the inside...

So, I guess I'm runnin really rich?
How long do you have to run really rich before you mess up the sensor? I just installed it and don't want to beef it.
