Default o2 Sensor

smog check is coming up and I don't have an o2 sensor, i have been running without n for like a year now. The last time I went I passed, i didn't have an o2 sensor, and I was wondering if this could affect my performance? or is it just a sensor?

thanks for your time guys

Well without the O2 sensor you car will run Open circuit. Meaning there is no info coming in to tell the ECU if your running too rich or too lean. It goes to your ECU's default AF ratio. Usually it will run too rich.
