Default need suggestions, rebuilt engine refusing to start.

A friend and I rebuilt my b16b engine due to the rings being worn. Here is a list of parts used:
b16b block
b18b1 crank
b18b1 rods
b18c5 (us spec) 81.5 pistons/rings
OEM bearings/ seals throughout, including headgasket, timing belt, etc.
thermal intake manifold gasket (new)
skunk2 fuel rail (new) with RC 440's
JRSC 10-12 psi setup*
B16b head was rebuilt back in november so its still fresh, although we replaced one valve.

We have the engine installed, Cam/Block timing is spot on, Injectors are pulsing and spraying, distributor is working as it should (tested on another vehicle) and leads are in correct order, Plugs are brand new. Compression test was even across the board (215 psi). No cel lights, checked all fuses and they are good, Main relay swapped and no change. The ground wires are installed (transmission, thermostat, and valve cover). I am running hondata s300 with a b18c5 JRSC with 440's 16 omhs map (closes I could find) that came with the smanger software for a base map right now. I swapped in my stock CTR ecu and still won't start.*So if you made it this far, we have spark, we have fuel, we have compression, and we have timing. I'm stumped. We are going to move the distributor around and try to start it tomorrow, while testing the injectors we had an o-ring break and no replacement so had to stop. Also going to check my spark plug wires since we didn't use them when testing the distributor on another vehicle. Might even try roll starting it.Am I missing something? We've about ran out of idea's. My friend has built several complete engines including his own a week before mine without issues. Any idea's are welcome.

Update* we put stock injectors, fuel rail, and ecu back in. verified timing down to the cam lobes. Swapped spark plug wires. Still no start. It will back fire occasionally leading me to think timing but it's all checking out. Please help or make suggestions before I have to sent it to a shop and eat up even more cash lol.

Are you getting fuel when cranking the motor?

I'm thinking maybe your main relay is opening when your cranking and loosing fuel pressure.
What's the fuel pressure at the rail?
What's the battery voltage? What's the voltage during cranking?
Check continuity from the motor to your chasis to make sure your grounds are good.

You need 5 things to start a motor.
1.Compression
2. Timing
3. Spark
4. Fuel
5. Air

If you don't have a multi meter you need to buy one asap.
There's no use trouble shooting if you don't have one or know how to use one.

How old is the fuel?

Sounds like ignition or a bad tune.
Do you get a smell/visual of raw fuel out the exhaust?
100% your plug wires on in the correct order?
What color is the spark from the wires when you test to chassis?

Well I left my buds house to go get my kids and he started rekeying my rear hatch that wouldn't work with my key. finished that and decided to see if it'd do anything. Low and behold the dang thing started. What a relief. He then put all the upgrade stuff (skunk2 fuel rail, RC 440's, and Hondata ecu) and it still starts. Getting smoother and sounding better every start. We don't have a clue what the issue was, but I've put 30 kms on it problem free. Just hope it's good to go now.

Gotta put ~800kms (500 miles) and then it's dyno tune time woot!
