well after looking over my dyno sheets i realized that my spiking occured w/ my vtec crossoer point. knowing this my buddy is just doing a complete dx block build up in his obd2 civic. was wondering if i we can reuse the engine harness that is for a vtec, and it'll work "plug n play" wise with his complete dx motor. i'm assuming it should plug in and the vtec wire shouldn't have a problem...thanks in advance for the info.

Ummmm...you talking about using the OBD2 ex harness on a DX engine? Should work perfect if you use a DX ecu. You just won't hook up the VTEC wires or knock sensor wires.
