Im going to be turboing my car in the late summer. Im going to by a p-28 ecu but do not know which brand to go with. Secondly I know the ecu has to be reprogrammed for boost. Where is a chip kit I can buy besides jetchip. Any help please im totally lost.

 

ummm p28 is honda, if there is brands, then thats new to me.

they have what you need for chipping, if you can soilder, if not, then i'd have them do it for you. Otherewise, you can ususaly find ones around, that are pre chipped for what you need.

 

Alright im going to buy a skunk2 p-28 which is a honda ob1 ecu. I wanna put a turbo in my car. With the stock ob1 settings that are going to be one there they are goin to make my car idle very high. I need to know a tuning process that people go through to get there cars turbo ready. IM not lookin for the regular chip kits. Im lookin for a tuning chip that goes in the ecu to run a boost application.

 

P28 is a Honda ECU. You either get a P28 and hook up Hondata to it, or get it chipped with Crome/Uberdata/etc and then run the software on the ECU. You will also need new injectors.

Honestly, your best bet is to look up a local tuner, and pay to have him tune the car for you. Without a lot of research and a lot of time around cars, you'll blow your engine to pieces.
