quick answer, NO
every car is a little different.
get any decent ems, and have a competent tuner chew on it.

Take it to your tuner and get it tuned.

he doesn't recommend to street tune it, and he doesn't have a dyno, its cause i cant rev my car hard, cuz if i do it starts acting funny, so im thinkin its the basemap

So he's not a tuner? No street tune and no dyno I'm comfused? You need to get the car tuned to get on it. A base map is just to drive it to the tuner to get the car tuned in properly for YOUR setup. Is not to rag on it.

x2

a basemap is NOT a tune for your car,

its a BASE for your tuner to work on, so hes not tuning from scratch.

if you cant find a dyno, then you HAVE to street tune it, it may no be effecive as he dyno, but at least its free if you do it yourself and use datalogging

is what the term implies. it is a BASE to get you to the dyno. not to go beat on.

dude if you want to go beat on a base map, have at it. i have been here long enough and made enough mistakes myself, that beating on a base map is a bad idea. so if you feel that my remark was untrue, thats fine. i was born during the day, not yesterday. so before you are quick to see remarks as the truth, ask why they are called base maps.

with the fact that every car is different, yes a base may get you close. the dyno IS THE ONLY WAY FOR IT TO BE RIGHT.

i would say in your face but i have seen people like you come and go from this site, and through my shop.

go get a base map. beat on your car.
then come back here and post what to do after you nuke your engine.
