Default Need Help with wastegate !!!

I have a HKS WG and i suspected a exhaust leak since my transitions in boost stumble. I've already removed it from the manifold. looks like gasket was worn out a lil bit. I have an extra gasket to put it on, should i put some type of seal onto the gasket ? or just re-install with new gasket ? also b4 i do this should i disassemble my WG to inspect the diaghpram ? sorry this sounds like a newbie question. but i'd rather be safe then sorry

if you can find some high temp gasket material just cut your own. otherwise, I'd buy the gasket and save the headache.
