Default Need help with Restrictor....

Ok guys, I have a T25 that is getting way to much oil pressure and I want to build and install a restrictor. Well I am having no luck in being able to build anything. My main problem is finding anything that will accually thread up to my feed line and turbo fitting. I took some pics of the line and fitting. Can anyone help me figure out what I need to build this restrictor??? Or can someone post where I can pick one up that will screw right up to what I have? Thanks!

dash 3 line

T25 fitting

you can weld the hole in the fitting shut and drill a smaller hole in it

Ok, but I can only imagine how hard it will be to drill a 1/16th hole through a weld.....

I did it on a drill press, so it was pretty easy. Just be sure to weld the side that is not tapered if you decide to do it

Oh ****, good call. I was thinking to myself which side I was gonna do and I was pretty set on the tapered side. LOL. Good thing I didn't go do it right after I read the first reply. LOL. Thanks for the idea!

Any more ideas??

I have a needle valve before my feed line and oil gauge... and i have it set to 15 psi or so at warm idle and about 40 psi at WOT. I've got a T3/T4.

or you can do what I just did and drop $24 on a oil restrictor from atpturbo.com, ya i feel ripped off but there is no welding and no drilling and no BS, screw it in and done.

Sometimes its just easier to pay out the @$$ to get something done.

Will the restrictor from atpturbo.com fit on my dash 3 oil line? My oil feed line is not NPT its some other crazy type, thats my biggest problem....

well ya it shouldnt be NTP right? the fittings on the "T" should be NPT for the block, the line should be -an, its weird they are like slanted threads. I have a -4an line myself and it was flowing way 2 much oil, im pretty glad i got that restrictor.

Im pretty sure that restrictor will work for you, check it out

I made my own oil restrictor for almost nothing! All I did was tap out the turbo inlet oil AN fitting with a 5mm tap, then drilled out the centre of a 5mm grub screw with a 1.5 mm drill bit (approx 0.060"). I screwed the grub screw into the turbo AN fitting. This now stops over oiling of the turbo!
The grubscrew can't unscrew its self out because the turbo oil feed pipe screws onto the fitting & holds it in!
