yesterday i installed a greddy turbo timer and everything went well. i turned the car off and took out the key and the timer was keeping the car on and everything was going great. then i wanted to see if i could arm the alarm while the timer was going, so i armed it and the alarm shut the car off. so i unarmed it, got back in and turned the car on. now the turbo timer just flashes the word "off". what can i do to change this? i want it to work like the first time and ill just wait and when its done ill arm the alarm. i dont want to do a relay and stuff. if you know how to fix this PLEASE help me asap. thanx!

 

nm i left it unpluged all night then the next day i pluged it back in and it worked. weird eh? lol

ah ok... yah i was wonderign why the screenname looked familiar. yah everyone's asked if i know u as if i should... it's like they think all broward peeps know each other lol.

 

There should be a relay on your alarms ignition kill place a toggle switch on the power to it. Then filp the switch when the turbo timer is counting down. This will trick your alarm that the ign is off. It will then arm all other senors shock, doors, motion etc... Adjust or shock sensor while the car is in idle to prevent false triggers. Rember to flip the switch back when you return or the auto arm will trigger (if activated) while driving. Yes this will prvent you ign kill from working, but it wont stop a good jacker anyway and a siren will stop most rookies. G/L

 

no you dont have to do this..al you do is find your igntion harness. the alarm wires should be going there. there will be a yellow wire attached to your ignition wire (black/yellow) cut it from this and move it to your radio wire (white/black) there you go probem solved. now you can arem it with the TT still running
