NEED HELP PLEASE!!
My car studders at vtec or when i get into full boost around 4500-5000 rpms...happend out of nowhere...changed out the spark plugs still doesnt fix the problem...the setup is a boosted jdm gs-r (b18c)...any suggestions?? let me kno...thanks!!
by studdering are you talking about its breaking up? or is it bogging? could be many things. Coil, dizzy, fuel issue etc. You need to be more specific about the issue and also i see you say its on crome but is it tuned properly?
well i found out that my ECU is running LIMP MODE...tryin to figure out what could have caused this problem...i do have a CEL and is throwing code 8 which is tdc sensor (top dead center)...car has been tuned for over a year now and has never had a problem until now...i do have msd ignition 6AL with a msd blaster coil and msd 8mm wires...what would cause me to be running in limp mode??

i jus opened up my ecu and dont see a chip in it soo i guess it isnt tuned...but yea im running the stock injectors...never had this problem till now...
you need to take it to a shop and have them tune it an troubleshoot it. Its obvious you dont have a clue as to whats wrong so i suggest you take it to someone who does before you blow it up.
Guys it's been running fine for a long time he says... if the FMU wasn't set up right it wouldn't have been working and he already would have blown the engine... is it ideal... NO... is it fine to use YES.
If you're throwing a TDC sensor code... chances are your TDC sensor is either broken or there's a problem in the wiring... I'd check that first... clear the code and go from there.
Chances are that's your problem.
