i will let turbodano give some insight but i THINK the s360 and 362 spool almost identical. a lot of people on here are running the s366 in their street cars saying they spool like a 35r. why not have a little bigger turbo(s362) thats not working quite as hard and still spools the same? know what i mean? not to mention if you ever want to go past the 500 mark then you have the right turbo.

Both turbos are mid to high end units that are made for EASILY over 600whp, but may be a bit laggy for what you're looking for. The question that YOU have to ask yourself is HOW you want the type of power that you're looking for, and whether or not your displacement will assist you in that power, response, and torque that you're looking for. I've found that though these units are comparable and larger than the Precision SC series, they can do serious damage on the streets in the top end, but it may be a bit much...This is where understanding your purpose comes into play, and only YOU can answer that.

I'll second that. Although the S3xx series is a great grouping of turbos, i think they're a little larger than what you'll want for a stock sleeve street/strip car. I'm still sticking with my suggestion of the S256/S258. They'll spool like a 57 trim and are still capable of nearly 600whp (the highest i've seen was 558whp). That would be my pick...and if you check my sig, it already is my choice

So i'll probablly end up either going with the s258 or the s360

I'd say S258 or S362, because they are available in the smaller S200 compressor cover, to have a much better fitment for a higher variety of manifolds.
