need help with my boost problem
ok firs off here's what i'm currently running:
crx si
zc swap
92-95 greddy kit
nos inline pump
votech fmu(8:1)
310cc
ok i've been messing around with this for a while and it is getting aggrivating....so if anyone has any ideas please let me know
the main problem i'm having is with the profec b that i have...i have the balance setting a little towards the 1o'clock area and with the low-boost setting selected and the lb **** set at around 3/4 of the way if i get on it in 2nd gear it jumps to 4-5psi and then won't go any higher accept if i'm on the interstate....(higher mph)..is this normal? how sensitive are the **** settings on the controller? i've tried searching the internet for pics of this boost cont. installed on vehicles but no luck ..so i'm trying to find out where you guys have the ***** set at or any things that i could try to remmedy this problem.....i've chec ked pipes, vac lines, etc i'm pretty sure that that my type s is adjusted correctly...

also i forgot to add....i read somewhere that the lines from the black box of the bc should be short.....is this true? also there's a filter that goes between the unit(in the car) and the vac source....does it go on a certain way or it doesn't matter......i just don't know what to try here
I had that prob when I had the Profec installed incorrectly. Hoses should go:
Compressor nipple->in on the Profec Unit
Out->side port of the wastegate (leaving the top one open).
