Default need help camshaft question

I need some help guys...
I have a 99 LS head with Gude regrind camshafts in it. I'm gonna go turbo pretty soon and the Gude cams are all-motor and have a higher compression...i know the lower the compression the better with a turbo setup, but will this make a significant difference if I leave them in or take them out as far as power and efficiency?

I have heard several yes and no's on this question and I need a final answer I guess. I've heard anywhere from that it won't really matter to that I would be better to just replace them with the stock LS camshafts. Also does anyone know if B20 camshafts will fit this head and or have a lower compression or am I better off with the stock LS ones?

Any input is appreciated. Please email me responses at B18cvic99@yahoo.com

Thanks for the help,
Jason

I dont really corellate camshafts with compression but I could be just missing something there. But as far as turbo is concerned the general concensus is that you want high lift low duration. So as long as your cams don't have too much over lap I guess you would be ok. But most people run gsr, ctr, or turbo cams but I don't know if vtec cams work in a non vtec head. so, theres my input.
