Default need help with ls turbo

hey guys whats up? I need some help with my ls turbo. Alot of people tell me i need a low compression head gasket but few have told me tha i dont need one!
I am just now getting into the racing sceen.. I bought a hatch dropped a ls motor with 40k miles and bought a t3 turbo kit and am currently looking for a better intercooler.. if anyone has any advice on what to do next with my ride hit me up!!

LS is already pretty low compression and good for turbo
sure you could get a thicker gasket and lower it even more, but if youre looking to for just a cheap way to run more boost...build it up with internals instead (rods, pistons, etc)

edit**check out the FI forum and search...you'll find what you want

i have a B18C1 in my car at 12psi with stock compression(10.0:1),no problem...
so,bottom line,you don't HAVE to lower the compression on your motor any,but lower compression could allow you to maybe run a little more ignition advance.the LS is already relatively low compression-i'd leave it alone myself.

run the stock head gasket, as long as you are tuned well, you will be fine.

keep stock head gasket, get a bigger turbo, and give it some boost!! LS motors love boost oh ya, get hondata too!
