Ok so the fitting is like lower than the fitting I had put in the oil pan. I cant seem to get the line long/short enough to make the oil pan want to go back on. HELP PLEASE

BTW I know the fitting is not on tight at the top its beucase I got sick of taking it on and off like 100 times and didnt want to put it back on just for a pic.

For a quick fix use a rubber hose and barb fittings

I had the same problem. This is how I fixed it....

Stan's return kits are pretty useless with a ramhorn style or low hanging turbo.

you can get this done, believe me. It's just a matter of using the right combination of fittings. It is not necessary to use fancy anodized ones, you can get zinc oxided steel fittings very cheaply at your local Parker, or hydraulic supply house. Go there and look at their fitting selection.

I used the 45 degree copper fitting at the oil pan.. Worked like a charm

I had the same issue on my Miata. I ended up sanding down the raised threaded portion of the drain flange and also cutting a -10 male fitting flush at the nut then welded the two. I gained an inch of oil drain height and made my life a lot easier. I still use a 90 off the drain fitting though.

Thanks for the replies guys. Im going to try to NSXmatt style right now. 2 reasons, its sat, I cant get to many of the fittings since most places are closed. And also the barb sitting is very small and will help get the swoop on the line.
