need final opinions on turbo selection (trim size, AR)
After a week or so of hunting through TI and our own FI forums i think im ready to start peicing together my turbo kit.
I have a B18b, want to make between 220-240 hp. All my reading has steered my towards a garret T3/T04E turbo, in either 50 trim .63 AR, 57 trim .63 AR, or 60 trim .63 AR. The 50 and 57 trim would also be available with a 48 AR
This larger AR will give me greater top end power and spool up a little later than a smaller AR, i also read that the 50 trim actually outflows the other two options here.
I probably wont be doing any 1/4 mile pulls, or auto crossing with my car. I also do a lot of highway cruising at 70-80 mph (3k - 4k rpms).
Can some experts throw some idea my way and give some of thier insight.
