Default What does clipped and ported mean?

I see this all the time on advertised turbo's. And I'm curious as to it's meaning. THNX

And what's the difference between T3, T3/T4, and T3 Super 60? Which will hold 20psi? THNx

Clipped- Cutting the exhuast wheel to make it smaller to increase high end flow. In essence giving it a higher A/R ratio than what that wheel actually has....

Ported - Porting the exhuast housing to increase flow. Also in essence raises A/R.

T3- a type of turbo, found common on thunderbird turbocoupe, and a couple of other cars. Nice sized turbo without too much lag

T3T4- a hybrid type turbo. Uses T3 exhuast housing, and T4 compressor housing. Wheel sizes can vary.....

T3 super 60- A T3 series turbo, the super 60 has something to do with the way the insides of the turbo are setup. I belive its the compressor blades that the super 60 refers to, cant remember.

Let it also be noted clipping, and porting will induce more lag.
